”In 5,” Luke called, watching his friends begin to run back from where they’d been standing. ”4,” another called through laughter. Okay, so the boys had been on a bit of a rampage today, doing stupid reckless things for the past half an hour. ”3!” The grin on Luke’s face got bigger as he picked up his home made bow and arrow, placing the arrow to where it should be. By now, all of the guys were back behind where Luke was standing. They were blowing stuff up. They had blown lots up today and so far, no one had even dared ring the cops. ”2!” another one shouted before they lit the end of the arrow up.

”1!” Luke yelled loudly with the others, sending the arrow whistling through the air towards the gasoline covered garbage bin… still filled with all of its junk. The arrow hit it smack bang in the middle, and straight away it incinerated with a loud ‘BOOM.’ They all cracked up, watching the black smoke rise up into the sky and the frightened faces on the few passers. Luke leaned forward, resting his hands onto his knees as he looked up at the flaming pile of garbage, ”Oh that was brilliant,” Luke said, feeling a few hands pat him on the back before they ran off towards the fire with the extinguishers. He stood upright and sighed, brushing his fingers through his hair as he listened to the thoughts of the people around him. It wasn’t any different to what it was before, all were wondering why he enjoyed blowing shit up so much and some where perving on the girls around him.

It wasn’t till he caught a train of thoughts that he turned around, his eyes drifting across the faces before he matched the thoughts to a girl who’d just sat down on the benches. Running away from the cops because she was fighting a girl? Wait… a demon? Luke raised an eyebrow, staring curiously at her. Was she like him? With… powers? Luke was hit on the back with something hard, knocking the breath out of him as he stumbled forward before turning around to see his friend grinning. ”What next?” he asked, causing Luke to wipe the back of his hand over his mouth. He glanced around before shrugging, ”I don’t know, whatever you can find I guess. Go on without me,” Luke said before walking off towards where the girl was. He shoved his hands into his jean pocket before walking up casually towards her, his best smile making it’s way to his face. ”Mind if I join you?” Luke asked politely, biting his lip lightly when he noticed how good looking she was up close.

Luke grinned when she allowed him to sit, sitting down next to her with a sigh, stretching his arms up above his head. ”Thanks… Who knew blowing shit up would be such tiring work,” Luke said before laughing to himself lightly, looking back to the gorgeous girl beside him. He smirked at her thought of him being hot, looking up towards the blue sky above them, stopping himself from saying something about it. ”What brings you here to the park on this gorgeous day?” Luke asked, turning his head to watch her, his green eyes glinting with interest.

Luke followed her gaze over towards the fire before laughing at her comment, ”It wasn’t meant to scare anyone… maybe I should apologise,” he said before frowning about the old woman, then his face changed into a disgusted look at her comment, watching the guy she was talking about. His thoughts proved that he had, in fact, shat his pants. ”That’s rather disturbing… well, it was still fun,” Luke said with a small grin. He looked back to the girl with a small smile, ”I’m Luke by the way,” Luke said lightly, extending his hand towards her in a friendly gesture. He already knew her name by reading her thoughts, but yeah… he wouldn’t say anything.

The thought he’d caught before came back into his mind, about the demon, and he smirked. She must have powers if she knew about demons and witches… she could be a witch herself, right? Luke turned his attention to her again, a charming smile forming over his features. ”Oh and about being hot, I can say the same about you, you’re not too bad yourself,” Luke thought, directing it towards the girls mind effortlessly. This would be an interesting day.

Luke grinned, ”I would like to know, considering you entered the park pretty fast,” Luke said as he looked over towards where his friends had left. He cocked his head to the side, wondering where they’d all gone. He’d just told them to go and get another thing to blow up, stupid idiots. He looked back at her and her cute face, a crooked grin forming over his lips as he laughed lightly. ”Not exactly, but I wouldn’t want an old ladies death on my shoulders… I have enough stuff on my shoulders as it is,” Luke said before laughing to himself.

He smiled when she shook his hand. Lucy. It suited her, most Lucy’s he’d met were extremely gorgeous and hell, she was better than that. ”pleasure to meet you, Lucy,” he said sweetly, her name rolling off his tongue perfectly in a sort of seductive tone. He always enjoyed meeting new girls, he was like the social butterfly and wasn’t afraid to talk to anyone he had his eyes on. Maybe that was why he was so damn popular at school… and with the girls. Most were too chicken to make the first move; whereas he didn’t mind cause he always went to the person he chose to take home for the night instead of waiting.

He smirked at her thought, an apologetic smile forming over his lips, ”My bad. Though I’d let you know that way instead of just blurting it out,” Luke explained lightly, biting his lip before he looked away stupidly. Idiot, should’ve known. He smiled and nodded at her question, ”yeah, my sister and I am. I have telepathy, as you can tell, and I also have Psionic blast. Which is the ability to overload another's mind causing pain, memory loss, lack of consciousness, vegetative state or death after having created a psionic link into that individual's mind.” Luke thought to her, looking back at Lucy with a small smile. ” What’s your power?”
